About Us
What is ElectricianKit?
ElectricianKit is a focused set of free calculators for electrical work and electronics learning. Instead of a hundred unrelated tools, it covers the calculations that come up again and again in the trade: Ohm's law, voltage drop and wire sizing for installations, conduit fill for pulling cable, running costs for customer conversations, and the resistor, divider, and battery maths behind electronics work.
How the answers are produced
Every result comes from the standard published formulas, printed on the page next to the calculator so you can check the reasoning: VD = 2 × K × I × L ÷ CM for voltage drop, the 40% fill areas for conduit, the colour-band system for resistors, and the familiar V = I × R family for the rest. Wire tables use standard AWG circular-mil areas.
Our promise
Free, always. Every calculator is free to use, with no account.
Private by design. Calculations run in your browser; we never see the numbers you enter.
Honest about limits. Results are planning estimates. Codes change and installations vary, which is why every calculator page carries a safety note pointing you to your local electrical code and licensed professionals.
What's next
More trade calculators are planned — motor loads, transformer sizing, and three-phase helpers among them. If there is one you reach for and cannot find, tell us.
